As the world population grows and food security is threatened, the pressing challenge for agriculture is to produce more food, more efficiently and more sustainably.
This year’s World School delegates will work together to research innovative and sustainable solutions to food issues facing the globe. From design-thinking workshops to visiting state-of-the-art research facilities, this year’s World School delegates will have a unique opportunity to wrestle with one of the great challenges facing humanity.
It is our belief that we share a moral obligation to provide healthy and high nutrient food and access to clean water to all people globally.
In providing food for the populations of the futures, what are the challenges in ensuring that they all have healthy and high nutrient food and access to clean quality water.
“Over the coming decades, feeding a growing global population and ensuring food and nutrition security for all will depend on increasing food production. This, in turn, means ensuring the sustainable use of our most critical finite source water”
